WHAT TO BRING

Bring your lunch. You can bring something to share if you like.

Bring your meditation cushion or stool if you like.

Wear loose comfortable clothes. Bring a sweater or shawl.

Join us for a day of instruction and practice in sitting and moving meditation.

Sitting meditation includes stability (shamatha) and insight (vipashyana).

Gentle Taoist movement practice (qigong) releases stress, supports health, and promotes awareness in activity.

The small group format provides opportunities for questions and discussion of any aspect of practice that you find challenging, confusing, or inspiring.

The aim is to integrate body, emotions, mind, and activity. These teachings and practices are suitable for beginning and experienced practitioners from any tradition.
